Support The Informed Patient Project
Our resources are free for every patient who needs them — today, tomorrow, always. Donations help us create more.
Your support creates the next resource
Creating evidence-based, visually designed infographics takes significant time. If a resource has helped you communicate more effectively with your provider — or helped someone you love finally feel understood — your donation helps us do that for the next person. And the one after that.
Access is never restricted. Whether you donate or not, every resource remains free.

About supporting us
Are donations tax-deductible?
The Informed Patient Project is currently an independent project and is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are not tax-deductible at this time. We are exploring nonprofit status as the project grows.
What if I can't donate?
Please download every resource you need — they are free without exception. The best way to support without donating is to share our resources with others who might need them, or to suggest conditions that need guides.
Can I support with more than money?
Yes! Sharing our resources within chronic illness communities, patient forums, and with providers who might use them is enormously valuable. You can also suggest conditions to help shape our roadmap.
Will I get anything in return for donating?
Our resources are already free for everyone — so there's no "donor exclusive" content. What you get is the knowledge that you helped create something that will be handed to a confused specialist by a patient who needs to be understood.
How are donations used?
Donations fund research time, design work, website hosting, and the ongoing maintenance of existing resources. Every resource is reviewed and updated as medical guidelines evolve.
It's not just about money
Share Our Resources
Share our guides in chronic illness communities, patient forums, Facebook groups, Reddit, and Discord servers. Every share reaches someone who needs it.
Suggest a Condition
Tell us what condition needs a guide. Your suggestion directly shapes what we create next. Multiple requests for the same condition move it to the top of the list.
